Our long-time allies in the Force over at the ever-awesome MintinBox had the opportunity to put a few questions to actress Belle Swarc, who played Cassian’s young sister Kerri in Andor season one on their homeworld of Kenari.

MIB: Do you remember your first day on set? What was it like?

BS: I remember, because we had to arrive early, we had an English breakfast!
It was exciting to think about being in Star Wars! I remember walking from my caravan to the forest by the lake. There were tarpaulin tents around the set. I also remember the swans on the lake.

MIB: What impressed you most when you arrived on set?

BS: The costumes were really cool and looked like the ones I’d seen in the Star Wars movies. I also remember seeing platforms built into the trees. They were cool too.

MIB: Did you meet the main characters during rehearsals or when reading the script?

BS: Unfortunately no, they were filming in Scotland at the same time.

MIB: Was your costume comfortable?

BS: The clothes were comfortable and I had plenty of hand warmers in my pockets. The shoes were uncomfortable as they had to be cut off at the toes to look more authentic.
