The fall of the Galactic Empire is a period of history that would be studied for millennia afterwards, a period of time when, after centuries of patient waiting and planning, the Sith gained control of the galaxy under the working guise of a new, militaristic government, and quickly lost control as the wheels of freedom grinded out a hard-fought, galaxy-wide victory.
