The team at Virtual Cantina bring good news as more guests are announced. ILM model making legend John Goodson is appearing at Boonta Eve Special Edition San Francisco: Creators of the Star Wars Universe on 1st August, 2024 at Ireland’s 32 in San Francisco, CA.

The Virtual Cantina Network, owners of the World’s Largest Star Wars Celebration Fan Page, are proud to announce John Goodson will be making an appearance at Boonta Eve Special Edition San Francisco: Creators of the Star Wars Universe on 1 August, 2024 at Ireland’s 32 in San Francisco, CA.

John has worked on some of the most influential pop culture films of all time. Starting in the Star Wars Universe back in the Prequels, John was involved in building the model for Anakin Skywalker’s XJ-6 Light Speeder on Coruscant during “Attack of the Clones”. More recently, he worked on Ahsoka’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle, Moff Gideon’s Light Cruiser, and of course The Razor Crest as part of “The Mandalorian”. John also worked on “Solo: A Star Wars Story”, “Rogue One”, “Rise of Skywalker”, Star Trek”, the “Back to the Future” trilogy, “Ghostbusters 2”, and “Transformers”. John joins fellow ILM legend Hal Hickel, Bill Kimberlin, Tested.com’s Kayte Sebicer, and Lauren Vogt at this event.

This event is in conjunction with the VCN’s Family Vacation last week July, 2024 starting from Los Angeles, going to Anaheim, then ending in San Francisco with a photo at the infamous Yoda Statue at Lucasfilm.
