Here are the events for this week:

November 22

Garrison Carida will be in Philadelphia, PA for the Thanksgiving Day Parade.

November 23

70th Explorers Garrison will be in Kansas City, MO for G33kmas AKA Geekmas at Adams Mark Hotel from November 23 to 24th.
Central California Garrison will be in Hanford, CA for the Hanford Christmas Parade.
Japanese Garrison will be in Kawasaki City for the 42nd Kashiwa Festival.
Oklahoma Garrison will be in Musk, OK for the Salvation Army bell ringing at Walk-Mart from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
UK Garrison will be in Paisley for the Paisley Museum Closure Party from November 23 to 25th.

November 24

70th Explorers Garrison will be in Wichita, KS for the Toys For Tots Toy Drive at Five Below from 12:30 to 4:30 PM.
Alpine Garrison will be in Ogden, UT for the Ogden Light Parade.
Great Lakes Garrison will be in Garden City, MI for the Santaland Parade.
Redback Garrison will be in Cairns for the Special Children’s Christmas Party.
Star Garrison will be in Amarillo, TX for the Northwest Children’s Hospital visit.
UK Garrison will be in Birmingham for MCM Comic Con at the National Exhibition Centre from November 24 to 25th, and in Paignton for the Paignton Christmas Grotto at Crossways Shopping Center from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

November 25

Connecticut Garrison will be in Mystic, CT for the Friendsgiving at Mystic Aquarium from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Japanese Garrison will be in Miyagi Prefecture for the Akiho-cho Children’s Association Charity Festival from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, in Kichijoji for Knick Knack’s Market, and in Tokyo for the Ronald McDonald Open House at Ozo Setagaya-ku.
Redback Garrison will be at the Childhood Kidney Support Network Christmas Party.
UK Garrison will be in Horwich for the Bolton Winter Wonderland Supporting Bolton Hospice at Bolton Arena from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in Heywood for Moneybricks 2018 at The Willows/Heywood Civic Centre from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and in Manchester for the Space Spectacular at Bridgewater Hall from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

Event Details

The Mandalorian and Grogu, announced as The Mandalorian & Grogu, is a Star Wars movie that started production in 2024. Directed by Jon Favreau and produced by Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, and Dave Filoni, it takes place between the events of Episode VI: Return of the Jedi and Episode VII: The Force Awakens, focuses on the adventures of Din Djarin and Din Grogu, and will be a spinoff to the TV series Star Wars: The Mandalorian. The film was announced on January 9 that year on StarWars.com with a conceptual sketch by veteran illustrator Ryan Church, along with an announcement of a second season of the television series Star Wars: Ahsoka. A fourth season of The Mandalorian is also still in development.

On May 7, 2019, Disney revealed their future movie release schedule, including a set of three untitled new Star Wars films, one of which had a scheduled release date of December 20, 2024. The Star Wars Show also reported on the news on May 15. On July 23, 2020, after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the film was delayed to December 19, 2025. After the start of the 2023 Writers Guild of America strike, Disney shifted their theatrical film release slate, with the film being pushed to its current release date of May 22, 2026. A film directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy occupied this release slot until The Mandalorian & Grogu was announced.

Star Wars Insider 224 revealed the initial film logo was the same as the one for The Mandalorian Season Three. In August 2024, during D23 2024, it was revealed that the film had entered production, and a new logo was revealed, in addition to a teaser that was shown to the audience. In August 2024, Sigourney Weaver revealed that she had joined the cast of The Mandalorian & Grogu.

Alongside the release of the movie, Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run will be updated to include a new mission featuring Djarin, Grogu, Tatooine, Endor and Cloud City, which takes place off camera from the film.
