Very unfortunate news from an otherwise excellent weekend at Comic Con Midlands as droid builder Chris Carpenter reports that his droid Bobbie was stolen from its display stand in what apears to have been a premeditated theft. As staunch supporters of DroidBuilders UK we’re keen to see the droid returned and the thief prosecuted, so if anyone has any information regarding the whereabouts of the droid, please contact Chris via Facebook.

Unfortunately at this weekends Midlands Comic Con of of my droids was taken off the display stand

My Bobbie was lifted for the stand and from what we can gather so far the way it was done feels if it was planned in the morning and taken in the afternoon.

It has been reported and we are awaiting footage from the event, but I ask for people to keep a eye out on the normal place to see if to pops up.

Fingers crossed for its safe and swift return, and stay tuned to Fantha Tracks Radio and upcoming episodes of Making Tracks where we caught up with April V. Woods (young Kleya Marki) and Jacob James Beswick (ISB Supervisor Heert) at Comic Con Midlands.
