Hot on the heels of the recent catch-up, the team at Echo Base Live have announced the next guest, who will enable you to ‘Get Carter’ – it’s none other than Michael Carter the man behind Bib Fortuna in Return of The Jedi.

Returning by popular demand, some of you will have met Michael at our previous event back in April 2018.

Michael made his film debut in An American Werewolf in London (1981) as London Underground passenger Gerald Bringsley, although he is probably best known for his portrayal of Bib Fortuna in Return of the Jedi (1983). Carter also played Radu Molasar in Michael Mann’s cult horror movie The Keep (1983). He has been in several other films including The Draughtsman’s Contract (1982), A Christmas Carol (1984) as the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come, Young Adam (2003), The Illusionist (2006) and Centurion (2010).

Michael will be with us all day, signing autographs and answering your questions.

Autograph Price: £20

(Autograph charges apply, all guests are subject to change and are beyond the control of the event promoter)

The show returns to the Kingfisher Centre in Redditch on Saturday April 4th, and the early bird tickets have now SOLD OUT!!!!!! Free general entry will be from 10am and money raised at the show has benefited many wonderful charities, and their current choice is Little People UK, patron of which is Star Wars legend Warwick Davis.
