Echo Base Live is back for its seventh episode on 4th May at the Kingfisher Shopping Centre in Redditch, and with a two months to go before the big day the team have announced the next saga guest joining them on the day, who has a musical slant to one of his characters….

*** GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT ***

We are delighted to announce that the fourth guest at Echo Base LIVE on May the 4th at the Kingfisher, Redditch is…

Mr Simon J. Williamson

Simon regards Max Rebo as the main character he played in ROTJ, but he also had a lot of fun playing Gamorrean guards – Jubnuk (who gets eaten by the monstrous Rancor) and Gartogg, the main guard in Jabba’s palace. He also played a Mon Calamari officer and assisted Mike Quinn in his masterful puppeteering of Nein Numb.

Simon was one of the foremost mime artist/creature performers in film/tv industry in the early 1980’s. You will have seen his work in Star Wars Return of the Jedi, Jim Henson’s Dark Crystal, Frank Oz’s Little Shop of Horrors, and in three Muppet films. Outside the world of Star Wars he is also an actor, writer and director.

Simon will be available all day to sign your items and answer any of your questions.

Please give him a warm welcome.

(All guests are subject to change. Autograph charges apply)

And don’t forget, early bird tickets are now available to purchase, allowing early access to the event and helping you guarantee first look at the collectibles and vintage goodies.

We’ll keep you posted of all the event news in the run up to the big day and as always, Fantha Tracks will be on the ground bringing the latest news and interviews from the show.
