Echo Base Live Bespin Bazaar: Saturday 1st October 2022: New guest announcements

With only weeks to go before the Echo Base Live show returns to Redditch, the team are spoiling us with even more guest announcements in the last few days. Alongside Bill Hargreaves, Paul Jerricho, Cathy Munroe and Rusty Goffe and Joe Gibson, they’ve announced a further 3 guests who’ll be along for the ‘Bespin Bazaar on October 1st.

Chris Bunn – Stormtrooper and Danz Borin
Chris is an English actor who portrayed Danz Borin in Star Wars and a Stormtrooper in Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Chris also had parts in several James Bond films and in a Superman movie.

Quentin Pierre – Bespin Guard and ERG
Quentin appeared in Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. He has worked as a Stormtrooper, Bespin Guard, Emperor’s Royal Guard and a Hoth Rebel. He is also known for being Morgan Freeman’s personal assistant on 60 projects and counting since 1993. Outside of Star Wars, Quentin also appeared in Space: 1999 as a Security Guard.

Laurie Goode – Saurin and Stormtrooper
Laurie Goode is an actor and musician who portrayed A Saurin, Stormtrooper and an X-Wing pilot during the Rebel briefing scene in Star Wars. His first role was as a stormtrooper on the blockade runner, in which he was filling in for Peter Dukes, who had fallen ill. Later, he performed scenes on the Death Star, recalling one scene where he banged his head on a gantry, leading many to believe that he may be the actor responsible for one of the film’s most famous goofs. Later on, Goode took up the role of one of the two Saurins in the Cantina (Hrchek Kal Fas).
Away from Star Wars, Laurie first appeared in front of the camera on the British television series ‘ Adam Adamant Lives ‘ (1966) and has been in many other films and television shows since that time including sci-fi appearances in Blake’s 7, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and nine episodes of the very popular Doctor Who series .
