Star Wars super collector, Celebration collectors track organiser and friend of the site Gus Lopez was involved in an incredible event celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back with past and present ILM staff.

Postponed by a year due to the pandemic, the event at 32Ten Studios saw many of the crew from ILM reunite to look back at their ground-breaking and Oscar-winning work on Empire.

The event was also graced by a brief video from The Maker George Lucas.

To hear more from Gus, check out our Making Tracks episode from Dave Tree’s ever-marvellous Farthest From event back in December 2018.
