Our pals Holly and Bryan over at the long-running and always excellent Full of Sith podcast welcomed the freshly married Matt Martin and the eternally awesome Pablo Hidalgo for episode 538, part of Podathon 2024, and during the chat the subject of George Lucas and Obi-Wan Kenobi came along and Pablo dropped a very welcome nugget regarding Lucas and his appreciation for the Kenobi series.
“Early on there was a conversation had with George [Lucas] over what his thoughts were, and whether or not, honestly, he bought the whole concept, and he was one hundred percent supportive. And I’ve heard tell it’s one of his favorite things that’s come out of Star Wars.”
The Lucas ‘Fabuloso‘ seal of approval is a beautiful thing, and great to hear he enjoyed Ewan’s return to the role under the guidance of Deborah Chow so much.
