Many happy returns to Steve Sansweet, the former Director of Content Management and head of Fan Relations at Lucasfilm and the chairman of Rancho Obi-Wan. In his years at Lucasfilm he was involved in numerous initiatives that continue to bear fruit today, including StarWars.com, his work on Star Wars Insider magazine and being integral in the creation of Star Wars Celebration. The last 13 years has seen his attention focused on Rancho, which has prospered to not only become the worlds largest Star Wars collection, entering the Guiness Book of Records a decade ago, but also to be an essential destination for any GFFA fan who wants to let go their conscious self and celebrate the love.
To put his contributions to Star Wars into some kind of perspective, just look at this library of books he’s been involved in, publications that either ignited or reignited the collecting passions of Star Wars fans worldwide.
