A staple of the UK summer convention calendar – and a happy hunting place for Fantha Tracks over the years as part of the much-missed Star Wars Zone – Showmasters have announced that the 2026 running of London Film and Comic Con has been cancelled. Citing the expense of travel costs to bring guests from outside of the UK, Showmasters announce that the show shall return to Olympia in London on 14th – 15th August 2027.

LFCC may not be happening in June, but the year is absolutely packed with events. 2nd – 3rd May brings the return of Portsmouth Comic Con, with the long-running Star Wars Fan Fun Day taking place on 4th May. MCM London Comic Con is on 22nd – 24th May, the first Galaxypalooza takes place on 6th June, Starfury: Invasion is back on 26th – 28th June, the same weekend as the first Force Fest on 28th. Comic Con Midlands lands in Birmingham on 11th – 12th July, and 1st August sees the return of Festival of the Force. There are plenty more events taking place across the UK (not to mention the rest of the galaxy) so stay tuned to Fantha Tracks (and look out for Fantha Trackers at many of those events).
