With the goal of putting Jeremy Bulloch‘s touring Boba Fett costume – presented to him by The Dented Helmet and Rebel Scum internet forums in 2008 – on display at the National Film Museum, a crowdfunding initiative has been launched with the goal of raising £10,000 to co-buy the costume and display it, £20,000 to completely buy and create a display and £30,000 to buy and set up a permanent exhibit at the museum with related Fett items, to be unveiled by Maureen Bulloch.

The fundraising has only just begun, and there’s 59 days to seee this project to target, so visit Indiegogo and make your pledge.

The National Film and Sci-Fi Museum, based in Milton Keynes UK, have launched its latest crowdfunding campaign to help them save, preserve and permanently display Jeremy Bulloch’s personal touring Boba Fett costume.

The National Film and Sci-Fi Museum is a charity dedicated to the preservation, restoration and exhibition of the art, skills and dedication that goes into delivering some of the world’s most successful films and tv shows. It opened in 2021 and features an extensive collection of props, costumes, art and photos.

The touring suit was created in 2008 by members of The Dented Helmet and Rebel Scum internet forums to commemorate Bulloch’s work as the character. Most of the armour pieces are made from vacuum-formed plastic and are signed by the prop makers who created them.

With Jeremy’s passing in 2020, preserving his memory and legacy is extremely important to everyone at the National Film and Sci-Fi Museum. Purchasing and displaying his personal costume is the goal of this project and is fully endorsed by Jeremy’s widow Maureen.

They have various goals to help fund the project and perks available to those who donate, including a ticket to the grand unveiling, a genuine Jeremy Bulloch autograph and even a RS Props shoulder pad with 5 autographs including Jeremy Bulloch, Temuera Morrison and Dickie Beer!

Our goals:
Stage 1 target: £10,000 contributing to co-buying Jeremy’s Boba Fett Touring costume and displaying it at the museum

Stage 2 target: £20,000 full funding to buy the costume, and creating a custom stand to display within the museum.

Stage 3 target: £30,000 creating a dedicated Boba Fett permanent exhibition displaying not just this costume, but also screen used items and production art from the creation of this infamous Bounty hunter.

Members of the Fantha Tracks team including Matt Booker and Mark Mulcaster spent plenty of time around Jeremy and this costume at conventions and store openings, with Matt having helped dress Jeremy on a number of occasions.
