Peter Mayhew remembered on the International Space Station

In a beautifully touching gesture, the crew of the International Space Station have paid tribute to the late Peter Mayhew, who passed away suddenly on 30th April.

And here’s a random but relevant thought. Watch the prequel trilogy. Not once did you see any vessel jump to hyperspace from the vantage point of the cockpit. We saw ships jump, but not from the POV of its crew. George Lucas wanted that wondrous reveal to be held back for when viewers watched the original trilogy, when Han and Chewie hurled us into hyperspace.

This orbital tribute from Nick Hague aboard the ISS couldn’t be more perfect.
