R2-D2 to be a part of the Disney Fab 50 Character Collection

Artoo Detoo in gold? It just doesn’t sound right, but it is when it means that our favourite astromech is now a part of the Disney Fab 50 Character Collection, which will see R2 and 49 other characters immortalised as statues that will be found in any of the four Walt Disney World Theme parks staring 1st October 2021 when the 50th anniversary celebrations begin.
