Star Wars at Carnival in Brazil

The “Império de Casa Verde“, a three-time champion of the São Paulo Carnival special group, will parade at the “Sambódromo do Anhembi” on March 1st with a plan to pay homage to Hollywood cinema, and that means Star Wars.

They are using the name of The Empire Strikes Back and there are many references to the saga. Here’s the official team shirt for the project.

We still do not have many details of the parade, but we know that several fan clubs are involved and the staff are picking out the costumes.

The presentation is scheduled to begin around 12:20 am Brasilia time and we will be covering the event to show images to you.
