On Sunday 23rd June 2019 Unleashed Events will host a geeky family-friendly fun day that you won’t want to miss at Jury’s Inn in Middlesbrough.
There are a number of exciting things taking place on the day, we have a special movie guest for you to meet, Angus MacInnes, who has had some amazing roles including two Star Wars films, he was the Gold Leader in the Rebel Alliance shot down by none other than Darth Vader himself. Fans of Hellboy and Judge Dredd will enjoy hearing Angus talk about his time on set as well as his television appearances in Vikings, Space Island One and The New Statesmen.
We have an extremely strong female character making an appearance as Captain Marvel, using her superhuman strength and powers she will happily pose for photos. Groot and Optimus Prime will also be popping along to the event so get ready to give them a ‘high-5’ or a ‘fist bump’!
If you are not feeling brave enough to meet the huge transformer then who you gonna call? North East Ghostbusters! With these paranormal investigation and elimination specialists you have no need to be scared to have your photo taken with them. In our wand making station your junior Harry or Hermione can make a wand any wizard would be proud to use, a truly special reminder of a magical day! Ever fancied becoming a Funko Pop figure? Then check out EMX Custom Pops stall as they create fully custom pop vinyl’s along with your own fully custom printed presentation box. Gorywoodfx will be providing special effects make-up on the day so pop to their stall if you feel you want to enhance your cosplay. No Unleashed Event would be complete without a VR gaming area and there are loads of Superhero characters for you to get a selfie or two! There will be cosplay competitions with some fantastic prizes for those who like to come along in character. To top it off, there will be geeky traders with tons of geeky toys, comics, collectables, art, jewellery, gaming, a tombola and so much more….there is something for everyone!
