Could Galactic Starcruiser return?

Could we be at the start of the road which will see the return of Galactic Starcruiser? In short…maybe. A private link to a survey was recently delivered to non-journalists and bloggers, paying a fee somewhere between $150 and $200 along with an NDA  to sign that asked a series of questions regarding the Halcyon and what the travellers thought of the experience.

The questionnaire was comprised of four sections: “Pre-Arrival,” “On Board,” “In Your Room,” and “Overall.” An additional section was also included for guests to fill out titled “Moments That Shaped My Halcyon Starcruiser Experience,” which was broken down day by day with various sections like “Return from Batuu” and “Dinner: Taste Around the Galaxy.”

One question on the survey asked guests how long it took for them to come up with their character, as guests are encouraged (but not required) to roleplay while onboard. Other questions were more general, like asking which events impacted guests’ personal stories, or whether they considered themselves introverts or extroverts.

There were also questions referring to the AI concierge protocol droid D3-09 and the use of the Star Wars “Datapad,” the phone app that guided much of the experience, as well.

Sensible that non-bloggers and journalists were not asked to participate, as that should give a cleaner and clearer set of replies. My thoughts are clear; Galactic Starcruiser was an incredible experience that needs to be tweaked in such a way that as many Star Wars fans as possible are able to stand on the bridge of the Halcyon, leap into hyperspace and experience the treasures of the ship without being required to stay in the cabins and shell out thousands.
