Disney’s Chief Executive Officer Bob Iger has revealed at today’s company earnings call that they are actively looking to create potential spinoff series from the popular TV show The Mandalorian.

Speaking of The Mandalorian‘s future, Iger confirmed when a second series would launch in October, but also said there’s “the possibility of infusing it with more characters and taking those characters in their own direction in terms of series.”

Additional details on which characters the company is considering were not given.

In addition to The Mandalorian, Disney+ is currently working on further series focused around movie characters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story‘s Cassian Andor.

Iger confirmed that the focus for Star Wars will be television for the short term.
