It would be easy to miss the other huge news that arrived today. As The Mandalorian & Grogu movie was announced over at StarWars.com, the second season of Ahsoka was also revealed as being in development under the guidance of Dave Filoni. No idea when it will land, but it appears we will get a resolution to the numerous questions laid out in season one – will Ezra shave off his beard? How will Sabine and Ahsoka make it home, and what do those space whales eat that allows them to bottom-burp into hyperspace with such accuracy?
The Mandalorian & Grogu will lead Lucasfilm’s ongoing feature-development slate, including films helmed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, James Mangold, and Dave Filoni, who is also currently developing Ahsoka Season 2, among those in the works.
