It is with sadness that we hear from our friends at Elite Signatures, that Alfie Curtis, who played Dr Evazan in Star Wars: A New Hope has passed away.

Born on 28th July in 1930, Alfie appeared in TV programmes such as Larry Grayson, Grange Hill, QED, The Bill and Tucker’s Luck together with film credits in The Elephant Man, as well as of course the original Star Wars.

Our thoughts are with Alfie’s family and friends.
