Contrary to popular belief, we here at Fantha Tracks don’t spend our entire lives scouring the the world for the latest news from a galaxy far, far away….

When I’m not investigating the latest bargain in UK stores or heading off to conventions, I play drums in a couple of independent bands, including Amoeba Teen.

Although not particularly Star Wars themed in any way, we have just released a video for our first single of 2018, (Coming On) Stronger and will be heading out for some live dates over the next couple of months to promote the single, and some other new material from our upcoming album. The video was directed by local director Nick J. Townsend, and the song is also available to download for free here.

For the eagle-eyed among you there is a Star Wars easter egg in the video – see if you can spot it, and if you can share it on social media and comment below.

Having made a successful comeback in 2017 we released a ‘best of’ compilation, a new acoustic album “The Appleyard Sessions” and made a return to the live circuit, including playing the prestigious Cavern Club in Liverpool.

2018 Live dates confirmed so far :

January 26th – Sunflower Lounge, Birmingham

March 2nd – Claptrap the Venue, Stourbridge

March 21st – The Maverick, Stourbridge – Unplugged

March 23rd – Tower of Song, Birmingham
