The Oscars are coming in hot, and after last weekend’s Golden Globes we steer towards the BAFTAs, which take place at the Royal Albert Hall on 10th February.

Solo: A Star Wars Story may have criminally failed to nab any nominations (nothing for John Powell? REALLY?) but there are Star Wars actors and crew nominated for other projects.

The Best Supporting Actor category sees Adam Driver nominated for BlacKkKlansman and Richard E. Grant for Can You Ever Forgive Me? while Best Visual Effects saw ILM nods for Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War and Ready Player One.

Best of luck to all involved, and fingers crossed for the bog one, the 91st Oscars, which have their final nominations announced on Tuesday 22nd January with the ceremony taking place Sunday 24th February at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood.
