The BAFTA’s took place earlier this evening, and while ILM were shut out of the race – four of the five nominations were for ILM projects, so naturally the fifth film Poor Things won – but there is good news as Ludwig Göransson, the composer behind the theme for The Mandalorian, won for his epic Oppenheimer score adding to a haul of seven awards including Best Director, Actor and Film.

Congratulations to Ludwig, commiserations to ILM and stay tuned to the Oscars next month where hopefully one of those multiple Academy Award nominations (once again, ILM have 4 of the 5 with Godzilla Minus One the fifth) gets the nod and John Williams continues his love affair with Oscar and wins for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.
