Long time fans of Ashley Eckstein know of her tremendous work ethic and her habit of making herself available to her fans. Just a few days after her 12th successful Her Universe Fashion Show, Ashley hosted other panels, did signings, and on Saturday she was due to do a panel with her HypeFriend podcast co-host Michael James Scott.

Unfortunately, Michael had to leave early due to a work conflict, so Ashley immediately pivoted and brought in her husband David as a co-panelist. Fans in attendance were treated to an intimate panel that focused on the audience sharing stories about their own  hype friends, and how they overcame their own personal challenges.   David and  Ashley also shared their journey about how they wrote two individual books about how their lives intersected. Both books are due to be released on the same day, September 8th, with both of them doing a book tour to follow.

Ashleys book Lucky 22 (co-written with Samantha Chase) is a fictionalized story of their relationship. Ashley says her story is the equivalent of a Hallmark movie, and shared that  co-writing was a challenge for her because she didn’t want to put to paper any details that weren’t true to her and David’s  story.

David’s book Just Enough is a biography, sharing his journey through his upbringing, successful sports career and relationship with Ashley. They both shared stories of the changes their relationship lead to personally and professionally.

David and Ashley both have a preorder campaign for their books (Check their socials for more information).
