Great news for lovers of The High Republic and Young Jedi Adventures, as not only are characters from The High Republic coming to the Star Wars Kids adventure series, but writer Cavan Scott is also writing for the show.

Characters from the High Republic books are coming to Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures on 11/8!

“Charhound Chase”
The episode is the first on-screen debut of Master Loden Greatstorm (voiced by Matthew Yang King), Bell Zettifar (voiced by Marcus Scribner), and Bell’s charhound, Ember. “Charhound Chase” is written by Cavan Scott.

“Stuck in the Muck”
The Starlight Beacon will debut on-screen for the first time in the episode “Stuck in the Muck.” Jedi Master Maru (voiced by Liam O’Brien) will appear in the episode, greeting the Younglings as they arrive at Starlight Beacon. “Stuck in the Muck” is written by Katie Kaniewski.

Both “Charhound Chase” and “Stuck in the Muck” take place before the Starlight Beacon’s dedication ceremony. 🙂

The episodes (and more!) will be available 11/8 on Disney+ and Disney Junior; More episodes from Season 1 coming in 2024!

Scott revealed more about this great news in an interview with IGN.

“Star Wars is Star Wars, no matter who you’re telling it for. The central beats of Star Wars, the hope, the adventure, the fun, they’re throughout everything. It’s the lens you see those stories through that changes. So you obviously have to be careful. The kind of story you tell in an adult novel is very different to the kind of story you tell in a kid’s comic, for example, or a TV show. But again, the basis of the stories, the values they’re built upon, the kind of character relationships we’re trying to establish, they work no matter what age group and as said, no matter what medium.”
