Hotel Sidi Idriss is one of the most iconic locations for Star Wars fans, first seen on screen in 1977 but had been a part of the saga since well before then.

Now, as the hotel angles for more international visitors, they’ve reached out for help from the fandom.

Fantha Tracks reader Liam Ball dropped us a line with this important information.

The manager of the Hotel Sidi Idriss, Matamata (image), Ayoub Kardous, is looking for support to improve the Star Wars travellers experience when visiting.

As I am sure you know, the hotel was used by George Lucas and crew for filming back in 1976 and then again in 2002 (image) to represent the interior of the Lars Family homestead.

Ayoub is asking for any behind the scenes photos, images or magazine articles or even Star Wars related costumes/helmets, if someone is willing to donate.

If anyone has any items they would like to support please get in touch.
