While Solo: A Star Wars Story had a rocky time at the box office, its quality is without doubt and its magnificent score would surely have been a very strong Oscar contender (had someone at Disney not forgotten to enter it for Oscar consideration that is). Fitting then that the score and its composer John Powell be recognised by ASCAP, winning the Film Score of the Year award, an honour chosen by his fellow composers.

Huge congratulations to Powell and John Williams who composed The Adventures of Han, the opening track on the album.
