No more Naked Gun for Neeson?

With The Naked Gun making great coin at the box office, bringing in $56,409,738 worldwide so far, a sequel might seem to be likely but the man whose name sits above the title thinks otherwise. While having a great time making it, Liam Neeson doesn’t think he’ll be back as Frank Drebin Jr. (though remember, this is the guy who said he’d never do a Star Wars TV show the week before Qui-Gon returned in Obi-Wan Kenobi).

I think it’s a one-off, yeah. And if it succeeds, good.

I think the film’s going to have a few giggles and a few laughs in it, and God, we all need that at the minute. I think it’s probably a one-off. Not that the experience wasn’t great, it was. It’s terrific, working with Pamela, Danny Huston, all these terrific guys.
