Listeners of Desert Planet Discs, listen up, there’s a great new Star Wars loving track about to hit your ears. From friend of the site Nige YC, this is “Star Wars Back In 77”, with both the official video and the Yavin 4 House Remix.

The song ultimately references someone’s sheer potential to change lives to how Star Wars changed the World back in 77. It’s a chilled, funky-retro disco track, which is the lead song from my upcoming “NYC” album re-release. The video is a fun, 70s roller disco themed clip (and yes I intentionally chose some of the digital backgrounds due to the lightsaber similarities haha).

The single is out on all music platforms (all links below) which also includes a House music remix called “The Yavin 4 House Remix” 😆

Fun Fact: If you play the song on Spotify via computer, the progress bar along the bottom transforms into a variety of lightsabers…including Rey’s, Mace Windu’s and Luke’s!

“Star Wars Back In 77” the BRAND NEW single from UK Singer Songwriter, NYC! This is a retro-funky pop track, full of Star Wars energy and life, made especially for the dancefloor…Taken from the upcoming “NYC (Deluxe Edition)” album, coming later this year. This song is OUT NOW on Spotify, Applemusic, Amazon Music, YouTube Music and all music platforms Worldwide.
