We have been doing lightsaber choreography since 2006. On the occasion of our 10th anniversary in 2016, Nick Gillard, the stunt coordinator and creator of all the lightsaber duels in the Star Wars prequels, visited us and celebrated with us. Following this event, Nick sent us some test footage of the final duel between Anakin and Obi-Wan, which we kept secret at his request.
While Ewan McGregor is not seen in this test footage, Hayden Christensen and the stunt team can be seen. The whole video was shot to give George Lucas an idea of how the final battle might play out. Small parts of this video were released in the featurette “Star Wars It’s All For Real: The Stunts Of Episode III”. It was first seen on the Revenge of the Sith DVD, but you can also easily find it online.
