It’s almost entering the realms of parody, another rumour of a character coming to The Mandalorian or a new show coming to Disney Plus but we’d be remiss if we didn’t at least broach the subject and so the latest rumour arrives. No, it’s not Ziro the Hutt joining the cast of The Mandalorian season 2, or Babu Frik being revealed as the latest member of Clan Mudhorn but rumours that an Ahsoka Tano show is in the works.

DanielRPK and Fandomwire have both reportedly heard rumours of a show – no word if it’s animated or live action, only that it will be set after the events of Rebels.

Lucasfilm is reportedly working on an Ahsoka Tano project for Disney+ according to two sources. DanielRPK (via CBR) is reporting that there’s some sort of project in development centered on the former Jedi. Meanwhile, Fandomwire reports more details, saying that it will be set after the events of Rebels and will feature Hera, Zeb and the Ghost’s trusted droid, Chopper. Dave Filoni is said to be overseeing the series as its narrative chronicles the group’s continued search for the missing Ezra. Given this, Grand Admiral Thrawn is supposedly also going to show up. Other than that, no other details about the show have been revealed.

It would hardly be a surprise if one of the most popular characters in all of the GFFA would get her own show, but as ever until the news is confirmed by Lucasfilm it’s just another rumour.
