7.00pm on Thursday 9th October at Picturehouse Central in London (15 Great Windmill Street, Shaftesbury Avenue, Piccadilly Circus, London W1D 7DH) will see a very special screening of the $1.3bn grossing The Last Jedi as part of a Rian Johnson retrospective, so for a rare chance to see the film on the big screen*, book your tickets here.

We’re thrilled to welcome Rian Johnson himself for an extended introduction to the film, screening as part of A Rian Johnson Retrospective at Picturehouse Central.

As the Resistance struggles to stay one step ahead of the tyrannical First Order, Rey (Daisy Ridley) heads to an isolated planet to seek training from Jedi master Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) – who, after years in exile, has grown sceptical of the Force’s power to do good.

Meanwhile, under the watch of princess-turned-General Leia (Carrie Fisher), former Stormtrooper Finn (John Boyega) and pilot Poe (Oscar Isaac) have their faith in The Resistance tested, as the threat of Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and Supreme Leader Snoke’s forces continues to bear down.

Delving deep into the mythology of the universe while unafraid to add new light and shade to its heroes and villains, Star Wars: The Last Jedi sees Rian Johnson add an emotion-rich, spell-binding chapter to the legendary franchise.
