Seven years ago today, Gary Kurtz passed away

It’s almost unbelievable that seven years have passed since the producer of the greatest space fantasy of all (and the greatest sequel ever made) left us, but on 23rd September 2018 Gary Kurtz passed away.

Back in 2018 We paid tribute to the great man, and to commemorate the seventh anniversary of his death, Gary’s official Facebook account tonight posted this.

Raise a glass to a man helped lay the foundations for everything we’ve continue love and cherish for almost half a century in the galaxy far, far away.
