One of the great surprises from Solo: a Star Wars Story was to bring Darth Maul back to the screens. In the small apparition we have him just sitting down, but in the original concept, they showed him with the robotic legs.

In The Phantom Menace we apparently saw him killed by Obi-Wan Kenobi, but it was in Star Wars: The Clone Wars that we discovered he had managed to escape. After falling into a ventilation shaft, his anger and hatred helped him survive, then he managed to acquire robotic legs, dropped the title of “Darth” and finally went to join his brother Savage Oppress to become a crime lord.

Really interesting to see that they would try to use a standing version of the character and show the mechanical legs.
