Believe it or believe it not, this year marks the 10th anniversary of the arrival of Star Wars Rebels. 11th August 2014 saw the debut of The Machine in the Ghost on Disney XD, directed by Dave Filoni and written by Greg Weissman (nowadays the writer of Spectacular Spider-Men for Marvel Comics). Here, watch droid builder and friend of Fantha Tracks Mike McMaster introduce Chopper to Dave Filoni.

Chopper is the grumpy, lazy, yet ultimately heroic astromech droid of the upcoming Star Wars Rebels animated series — and Lucasfilm has brought him to life. In this new video, go behind the scenes to see how a fully functioning Chopper was designed, built, and finally, introduced to his creators and to the world.
