Whilst Stagecraft is naturally most closely associated with Lucasfilm productions, it’s increasingly common to see ILM’s ground-breaking technology used by other productions, including Marvel and here by Warner Brothers who employed the tech on Matt Reeve’s recent smash hit The Batman. Here, the imposing vistas of Gotham City are thrown up on huge Stagecraft screens, far larger than those first seen just a few years ago on the debut season of The Mandalorian.

Get a behind the scenes look at the making of Gotham City in The Batman. The producers and cast explain the amazing visual effects and technology that went on behind the camera. The Batman is now streaming on HBO via HBO Max.
