We had Gareth Edwards, Gary Barlow and a number of other surprise guest appearances in The Last Jedi, but it appears that the two Princes William and Harry have been cut from the film.

So, despite 40 years after it being one of the most memorable lines in the original film, apparently people still don’t know how tall too tall is for a Stormtrooper. That said, unless it was a full body shot, couldn’t DJ have stood on a box?

The Telegraph take a look at the story.

Princes William and Harry don’t appear as Stormtroopers in the Star Wars: The Last Jedi, after they were cut from the film for being too tall.

William, 6’2”, and his younger brother Harry, 6’1”, donned characteristic white body armour and helmets for a scene that was filmed during their visit to the film’s Pinewood studios set in April 2016.

However the scene failed to make the final edit after it was realised the strapping royals towered over their First Order counterparts.

Oh well, there’s always the blu-ray extras.
