While there’s very little detail regarding this surprising news, it would appear that Rogue Squadron is still slated to arrive next Christmas, 22nd December 2023. Not only would that mean Lucasfilm are releasing two major projects – remember, Indiana Jones 5 which only finished filming last Friday is set to land on 30th June 2023 – but Paramount have announced that the fourth Kelvin Timeline Star Trek film is also arriving on the date once thought to be vacated by Rogue Squadron – TREKWARS!

This list of forthcoming films is dated 25th February 2022, but of course there could be plenty of changes ahead. With Star Wars Celebration only a few short months away, expect clarification and updates, but as it stands – unbelievably – Rogue Squadron would appear to still be racing our way next Christmas.
