We now live in an era where the influence of mobile gaming is rapidly increasing as it looks to assert its dominance on what is a very competitive industry. From video to social, as well as casino and bingo titles, mobile gaming has never been more popular. This trend has been backed up by the fact that mobile games account for more than half of global revenues as well as PartyCasino and other long standing casino brands noticing huge growth in the sector.

However, it is no surprise there is one series that is having a huge impact. Star Wars has been around for years and after making waves as a film, it’s doing the same in the mobile gaming sector. As a result we have highlighted a few titles that we think are totally outstanding.

Star Wars: Commander

Star Wars: Commander sees a player tasked with choosing whether their loyalties lie first, before joining the fight, building a base, recruiting and training an army, devising a strategy and going to war. Battling with the likes of Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia, it’s the Star Wars game to end all Star Wars games where battling is concerned in one of the most exciting games to date.

Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes

Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes will see players able to battle alongside their favourite characters from the franchise in iconic locations as they aim to become the master of the galaxy. Forging the ultimate team from eras such as Solo: A Star Wars Story, Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, amongst others, plays must make their way through turn-based RPG warfare as they look to take down bosses and pilot ships such as the Millennium Falcon.

Star Wars: KOTOR

Star Wars: KOTOR is probably the biggest Star Wars adventure to make it to mobile, with the journey of the player beginning four thousand years before the Galactic Empire and Jedi Knights have been defeated by the Sith. Players are tasked with being the last remaining hope for the Jedi Order and must use the power of the Force to save the Republic. There will be temptation along the way as players could be lured to the dark side if they’re not careful, with each player’s adventure unique.

Angry Birds Star Wars II

Angry Birds is one of the most popular mobile games ever released and it has joined forces once again with Star Wars to produce Angry Birds Star Wars II. The first edition was a smash hit and this one the same, with players having to use the Force for good against the Pork Federation, or they could indeed themselves head down a much darker path. As well as exciting gameplay, players will be able to choose their own destiny as for the first time they could make the move to join the Pork Side and play as characters such as Darth Maul and Emperor Palpatine.

It’s not just great movies that people should expect from the hugely successful Star Wars franchise, but fantastic games too, especially on mobile. Some of the Star Wars mobile games are really well designed and thought out, making them the perfect choice for gamers in general, not just fans of Star Wars.
