It’s taken me a while to wrap my head around this one but I think I’ve got it!  Alphabet squadron are a bunch of Rebel pilots who continue to hunt down the remains of the Empire after the events of Return of the Jedi.  So why Alphabet?  I’m guessing A, B, U, X and Y wing pilots!

Alphabet squadron is due for a June 2019 release, weighing in at 320 pages and is available for pre-order now.

On the verge of victory in what seemed an endless war, five former rebel pilots transform from hunted to hunters as they strike out against the vestiges of Empire. Set after Return of the Jedi, Alphabet Squadron follows a unique team, each flying a different class of starfighter as they struggle to end their war once and for all.

It will be written by Alexander Reed who has brought us popular novels including the Rogue One novelisation and Battlefront: Twilight Company
