Blocks magazine is back for issue 119 and brings with it the latest LEGO news, landing in UK stores and on doormats 5th September for £6.49. This issue brings us the chance to win 75389 The Dark Falcon if you subscribe before 2nd October and the issue delves deep into the forthcoming LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy. If you’re a connoisseur of the brick, you need to subscribe.

Blocks magazine Issue 119 is going so deep into LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy that we’ve ended up in the trash compactor. Exclusive features go inside the creation of the new story that sees the saga turned upside down, covering both the special and the models, including an interview with Bobby Moynihan – the voice of Jedi Bob. Within the 116 pages there are also Harry Potter reviews, an upgrade for 10332 Medieval Town Square, a new Build & Chat and a look back at 1989.

Issue 119 is available worldwide as part of a subscription or a single issue at blocksmag.com now and will be in UK stores from September 5. If you take out a 12 month print subscription this weekend, you’ll get a FREE poster featuring Jedi Bob and Darth Jar Jar! If you take out a 24 month print subscription, you’ll get an R2-D2 poster too.

We’re giving away 75389 The Dark Falcon! To be in with a chance of winning, take out a subscription before October 2, 2024. You’ll be entered into a new draw every month for the duration of your subscription.

LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy is the epic new animated special that mixes up the entire galaxy – Ewoks will be bounty hunters, Jar Jar will be a Sith Lord and Jedi Bob will take on a starring role! Inside the magazine, Blocks learns how the writers crafted the new story, what went into designing the models and when Bobby Moynihan, the voice of Jedi Bob, first discovered the obscure fan-favourite Jedi. It’s illustrated with new stills from the show, minifigure design sheets and more.

This month’s Reviews section covers the Rebuild the Galaxy sets as well as other new Star Wars models, before travelling to the Wizarding World for a look at the new Harry Potter releases. You’ll also get the Blocks verdict on Disney 43247 Simba, the display model that creates the lovable lion cub.

There’s inspiration for upgrading 10332 Medieval Town Square this month. Inspired by its predecessor, the classic 10193 Medieval Market Village, Blocks adds a third building to the Castle inspired model to make a more complete location. The feature includes instructions for a water wheel and roof design that you can use on your own builds.

Janne Lyng Sørensen takes a break from her work at LEGO House to build with Blocks. While putting together a set, she talks about her journey from designing Disney sets to crafting immersive, LEGO brick infused experiences that make a lasting impact on fans visiting Billund.

There’s plenty more besides in this month’s magazine, including a look at the rotating bricks that were never produced, what’s coming up at the Great Western Brick Show and Sheffield Brickfest, secrets within Fortnite 77073 Battle Bus and much, much more.
