Believe it or not a whole month has passed since the last issue of Blocks magazine graced our shelves, but it’s here again with the 121st issue and as always it’s jam-packed with fantastic content from across the LEGO world.

Blocks magazine is feeling playful in Issue 121, with reviews of the new LEGO Fortnite sets, an exclusive interview with the creator of LEGO Games, a look at the world of LEGO Pokémon and much more.

Issue 121 is available worldwide as part of a subscription or as a single issue at blocksmag.com now and will be in UK stores from November 7.

We’re giving away £3,000 worth of LEGO products this Christmas! One lucky winner will be building well into 2025 with this amazing prize bundle that includes Star Wars, Harry Potter, Icons, Speed Champions and all sorts of other awesome sets. To be in with a chance of winning, take out a subscription before December 24, 2024.

Monkey Palace is a fresh take on a LEGO board game, so Blocks speaks to Jaume Fabregat and Birgitte Bülow to find out how the LEGO Group and Asmodee collaborated on this special project that will have families competing for banana points.

Long term fans will remember the last time the LEGO Group rolled the dice with the Games theme – in an exclusive interview, Cephas Howard reveals how he got the theme up and running more than a decade ago, created the unique dice element and introduced tabletop gaming to children with Heroica.

Fortnite has taken LEGO gaming in an expansive, open world direction – and now the first sets have launched to tie into the game. Blocks reviews 77070 Durrr Burger, 77071 Supply Llama, 77072 Peely Bone and 77073 Battle Bus, to see if they live up to the expectations of players.

Not every game has a LEGO theme yet – so talented builders make their own models inspired by their favourite titles. In this month’s MOC spotlight, you can find a range of impressive LEGO Pokémon builds that showcase the ingenuity of the fan community.

Have you ever wondered why LEGO elements change over time? Find out the different reasons that pieces are tweaked. Whether it’s the jumper plate, minifigure head or arch that has you scratching your head, it will make more sense after reading this deep dive feature.

You’ll also be able to get hands on with your bricks using our exclusive instructions for mini versions of the Adam West Batmobile and The Burrow from Harry Potter, as well as a modern version of the classic 1990s Town set 6665 River Runners.

That’s just a taste of what is inside month’s 116-page magazine, which also includes a wide-ranging interview with Model Designer Jme Wheeler, a look at the new Wicked sets, a debate about buying multiples of the same set and much, much more.

The Blocks Book of Retro LEGO Sets Volume II is also available now! It’s a wonderful look back at classic LEGO sets from the 1980s and 1990s, with spotlights on specific sets, exclusive build instructions, interviews with people who worked at the LEGO Group back in the day and Q&As with talented builders inspired by the vintage themes.

Blocks is giving away £3,000 worth of LEGO sets! To be entered into the prize draw and to get Blocks magazine delivered every month – ahead of the shops – visit www.blocksmag.com and check out the money-saving subscription deals available.

Everyone who subscribes to the print edition by December 24 will be in with a chance of winning (existing subscribers will automatically be entered into the prize draw).
