With the Coffee With Kenobi network coming to an end, changes are afoot and one of those affected by the change is Comics With Kenobi, which will be making some changes themselves.

Comics With Kenobi, the Star Wars comics-only podcast that launched in 2015, is changing its name to Star Wars Splash Page starting Jan. 1.

The decision to rebrand comes in the wake of the end of the Coffee With Kenobi network, of which Comics With Kenobi was a member.

The move, disclosed last week, is part of a broader effort for Star Wars Splash Page to further enhance its detailed coverage of modern Star Wars comics published by Marvel (Doctor Aphra, Bounty Hunters, Darth Vader and Star Wars) and IDW Entertainment (Star Wars Adventures), as well as fan-made comics including A Star Wars Comic, Rebel and Green Leader, among others.

Co-founders Matt Moore and Jeff McGee said existing subscribers will see no change in their podcast feeds, while those who follow the podcast on social media may have already noticed the change to @SWSplashPagePod on Twitter and Facebook.

Additionally, the podcast can be found at www.starwarssplashpage.com and www.comicswithkenobi.com.

Moore said new banners and logos for social media are in the process of being created and likely to be rolled out during January.

“It’s really just a change-in-name only,” McGee said. “Other than the possibility of having each week’s episode out earlier than we currently release them, the content, critiques and ‘humor’ will remain the same as it ever was.”

Best of luck to everyone involved.
