Writers John and Mary Jo Tenuto have leapt upon an often-overlooked chunk of Star Wars history and developed a book – The Star Wars Radio Dramas – looking at the fascinating story of the Radio Dramas, including the involvement of the late and much-missed Brian Daley, who passed shortly after the completion of the recording of the Return of the Jedi radio drama. The book has a new cover, which you can see below.

Maria Jose and I are very happy to share a sneak peek of the cover for our new book which will be published by McFarland Books soon. Featuring new interviews with Anthony Daniels, Perry King, Ann Sachs, Joshua Fardon, Brian Daley’s family, John Madden, Richard Toscan, Tom Voegeli, Dan Madsen, and many others, and with materials from Brian’s personal archives, this is a detailed celebration of the making of the Star Wars radio dramas and the life and contributions of its writer Brian Daley.

Stay tuned to the site (and of course to Fantha Tracks Radio and Making Tracks, where we’ll endeavour to chat with John, Mary Jo and others involved in these timeless radio classics).
