From Dark Horse Comics, this is Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories—Codebreaker, a four-part mini-series that arrives 9th April 2025 from Bounty Hunters writer Ethan Sacks, artists Marc Yarza and Jose Marzan Jr., colourist Nicola Righi and wrapped in covers by Diego Galindo. Perfectly timed to celebrate the tenth anniversary of The Force Awakens, this will see Poe Dameron and BB-8 dive into action once again, and here’s a look at the first issue, the synopsis and the variant cover by Sean Murphy.

Poe Dameron is a confident, hotshot ace Resistance pilot. He and his outspoken droid companion, BB-8, have seen plenty of action against the First Order. Now, they are sent on a mission to investigate a piece of First Order tech used to decode Resistance messages, but standing between them and their objective is an infamous TIE fighter pilot. Can Poe out-fly his enemy, or will the mission go down in flames before it begins?

We caught up with Ethan earlier this year to discuss the end of Bounty Hunters, an episode of Canon Fodder that landed on Star Wars Podcast Day 2024. Be sure to look out for Fantha Tracks Radio episodes during the 2025 running of SWPD on Friday 7th February.
