Eagle-eyed readers might remember our articles earlier this year reporting the Kickstarter project for an illustrated history of Palitoy book ‘My Palitoy Story’ Researched and written by (Palitoy’s Chief Designer) Bob Brechin, and designed by (International Award Winning Graphic Designer) Brian Hickey.
Celebrating the creativity, ingenuity and vision of Palitoy’s team, this hardbound coffee table book will contain 256 beautifully printed full colour pages, making it an essential addition to every toy collector’s library.
If you missed the successfully funded Kickstarter project earlier this year, there is still opportunity for you to obtain a copy of ‘My Palitoy Story’ via the special pre-order offer price of €70. This offer is only available until 30th September 2023.
When the pre-order window closes on 30th September, the final print quantity will be placed with the printer. For anyone who misses this pre-order window, there may be further opportunity to buy the book after 30th September at the regular price of €95 plus shipping, please note however, quantities will be very limited.
The first draft design of the book is now complete and currently in review with Bob and Brian. Many sample spreads from the book have been shared with backers of the Kickstarter campaign which have been well received. Overall the project is running slightly ahead of schedule. All pre-orders will ship immediately after the Kickstarter backer rewards have been fulfilled. Estimated shipping date is Q1 2024.
