It’s a busy time in the gaming world. Hot on the heels of the Star Wars Outlaws announcement, Lucasfilm Games have today revealed the trailer for Sea of Thieves: The Legend of Monkey Island, bringing together the ‘shared-world pirate adventure hit Sea of Thieves’ and the 90’s classic Monkey Island.

Rare and Lucasfilm Games announced today that a thrilling Monkey Island crossover experience is coming to the shared-world pirate adventure hit Sea of Thieves. Called The Legend of Monkey Island, players can look forward to three brand new Tall Tales where they’ll tour and explore treasured Monkey Island locations, beginning with Mêlée Island, and interact with iconic characters, including Guybrush Threepwood. According to executive producer Joe Neate, “Throughout The Legend of Monkey Island you’ll solve puzzles, tussle with adversaries, and tackle unexpected trials as you strive to put right situations that have gone bizarrely wrong and confront a looming peril born of powers from both worlds.”
