The Maestro appears at ‘Yo-Yo Ma, Williams & Dudamel’

3rd and 4th April saw the LA Philharmonic conducted by Gustavo Dudamel along with legendary cellist Yo-Yo Ma present a special performance of John Williams’ cello concerto, and not only did the night feature selections from his vast library of cinematic music but the Maestro himself appeared to delight the crowd.

John Williams attended yesterday’s concert at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles and made a guest appearance at the end on stage. At the concert, the LA Phil conducted by Gustavo Dudamel, and with the participation of cellist Yo-Yo Ma, presented a performance of John Williams’ magnificent cello concerto along with selections from his extraordinary canon of film music.
