The very first San Diego Comic Con Malaga will head to the Med over the weekend of 25th – 28th September 2025, and among the many guests who will head for the sun is the voice of Ahsoka Tano (and one of the stars of LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild The Galaxy – Pieces of the Past), the awesome Ashley Eckstein, who joins fellow GFFA stars Gwendoline Christie and Dafne Keen at the show.

San Diego Comic-Con is expanding with an international spin-off that will be hosted this year in Malaga, Spain.

The event will run from September 25 to 28 and will be the first official San Diego Comic Convention licensed event outside the United States.

Plans for San Diego Comic-Con Malaga were announced this afternoon in Spain during an event that featured director and screenwriter Santiago Segura alongside a collection of local politicians, including Francisco de la Torre Prados, the Mayor of Málaga, and David Glanzer, Chief Communications & Strategy Officer of San Diego Comic Convention.

“We’re very excited to celebrate comics and the popular arts and share Comic-Con’s unique spirit, with audiences in Europe,” Glanzer said. “We couldn’t have found a more vibrant, welcoming, and creative city to begin this exciting new chapter for fans and creators.”
